Green Salad as Healthy Snacker

For a healthy digestion you just need to add green salad to your diet and make it complete. Salads will activate the immune system by increasing the antioxidants. Ingredients: The following are the ingredients that are required to make this green salad; includes
hulled barley-2 gm, salt for taste, and 100 gm of Bulgar. 200 gm of farro, 30 ml red wine vinegar, garlic clove, and 2 tablespoons minced red onion, garlic olive 10 gm, olive oil-45 ml, black pepper, cannellini beans, and shaved parmesan and basil leave 250 gm.
Method of preparation: Boil one liter of water in a large pot. Add 30 gm of barley powder, salt for taste. Boil this mixture for about 30 minutes. To the above boiled mixture add 20-25 minutes. Let all these grains boil to tender. Drain the water and spread them on a saucepan. Add Bulgar to the above mixture, let it heat for about 25 minutes until the water is absorbed.
Toss little bit of salt, onion, garlic, vinegar and black pepper to taste. If you want you can add beans, tomatoes, basil, and olive oil. While serving, you can fold the above mixture in parmesan. You may serve it cool, but preferably hot.
Nutritional value: The total calorie content is 365 calories, 14 gm of protein, 53 gm of carbohydrate, 13 gm of saturated fatty acids, and 12 gm of fiber.
Note: It is better to chew the salad; the extra texture barley will help you as a soup and stews. The proteins and fibers will help you to load your stomach and enhance your digestion. The nutty taste of farro, a hearty grain will make you interesting to chew.
